RÄLSSPIK
The “Riddarhyttan rälsspik” project is a manifestation of both reflection and the aspiration to delve once more into the history of this town. It involves a methodical reconsideration of the significance of elements within the framework of the contemporary context.

OBJECTS
I use the line in my in my work because it allows
me ton achieve the illusion of depth and create a light three-dimensional structure from many lines that are organized in a unique, delicate abstract movement.
This allows you to create a volume on the surface volume, a kind of relief on the surface lines that are in a frozen movement of the graphic.

THE HOSPITAL
Confronted with the unknown in the form of a diagnosis and a referral for surgery, I found myself in a world that was unfamiliar to me, where life moved at a different rhythm from the usual. I spent my recovery in the hospital after the operation within these walls.

BARRICADES
2013-2014.
The first part of the project shows the barricades that were created by people during the Revolution of Dignity on the central streets of Kyiv as a manifestation of protest against the pro-Russian President Yanukovych, who tried to establish a dictatorial regime in Ukraine.
I chose the moment to take the picture when there were no people in the frame, focusing on the barricades themselves, which were created randomly from improvised means, paving stones, tires, fences, benches, snow and other objects. Although there are no people in the picture, we can feel their presence, their intentions and perseverance in their struggle in the barricades.
2015
The second part of the project is an image of the streets where barricades were recently located, and now there is a normal, calm life, which demonstrates the victory of people in the revolution, and also emphasizes the contrast with the first part.

THE FOREST
Linocut is one of my favorite techniques. I've been doing it since. I was a student. The greatest joy for me is the process itself and the
moment when the print appears on paper.
